Blogging The Essential Guide Review and Competition

The book was well set out and easy to read, which meant I was quick to get to grips with the content.  The chapters are a manageable size and finish with strong summaries.  I find a good recap really helps the points sink in, especially with a brain as full of dust bunnies as mine!

If you're considering starting a blog this book is a valuable resource, the authors Antonia Chitty and Erica Douglas really know what they are talking about.  It has taken me a few months to learn what I could have done much quicker by simply purchasing this helpful book.  I can relax on the sofa, tea in hand, casually reading and not have to dart around the internet like a fresh faced (little bit manic) blogger asking every man and his dog to drop me a tip or two.  I bet a few of my newfound friends are breathing a sigh of relief at this!

I was very excited to be reviewing this book, despite having blogged for three months now; I know I still have much to learn.  I have realised I need to improve my links and stop my very bad habit of underlining click here.  Guilty as charged for that!  I shall endeavour to help search engines in future and link more constructive words.

I have learnt a good place to go and get images for my blog, I will not reveal too much here as I think everyone should purchase their own copy.  I wolfed down the book in basically one sitting, it was an entertaining read, as it's a topic I am very interested in at the moment.  I have had a fair few emails since starting to review from people interested in starting their own blog, well my one recommendation would be to buy this book.  It will make the world of blogging seem less of a minefield.

I am more hip now I know lots of abbreviations that tend to bound about the place.  Proving again this book is not a CWOT - complete waste of time!  It is in actual fact a must read,  especially the legal issues around blogging, they might save you from getting into a pickle!

This is not my first introduction to a Need-2-know book, I reviewed a Bullying A Parent's Guide earlier in the year.  I must say I am very impressed with this range.  I would definitely recommend them if you require information and guidance on a wide variety of topics and with an RRP of £9.99, you are getting exceptionally good value for money.

I now have a copy to giveaway so if you would like to enter kindly fill in the rafflecopter below and your in the draw, this will close on the 6th of April.

I have a blog, and I love blogging but to be honest I've sort of lost interest in it. If I win this prize I think it would inspire me to get blogging again.
