BBC Good Food Show and Gardeners’ World Live

Yesterday we went to this fantastic event.  The sheer number of exhibitors almost overwhelmed me, it was a busy bustling day out with plenty to see and do.  Great show prices on lots of products and a chance to see what is available on the market, with plenty of chances for a free taster.

I was quite pleased seeing the vast array of food and drinks; not to be a chicken.

No wonder they are so happy living on grain and worms.

But my eyes were watering over some of the stands… I have a sweet tooth so seeing this amount of cake was just heavenly!

Being on your feet for so long can be quite tiring so we made a point of stopping for an impromptu picnic with cake and some delicious sweet apple juice.

After sampling so many shots of alcohol (strictly for research of course!) I must admit I did get a little silly...

Hubbie was quite fond of the taste!!!

Then I had to have a picture with the boys from the Well Hung Meat Company

Then we tried to get back on track and admire the gardens and floral arrangements (in the gap in the horrendous downpours!).

I would have been quite happy if hubbie had proposed with this beauty!

To find out more head to the website.  The event is on tomorrow too so if you get a chance it is most certainly worth a visit.  I even braved handling a giant millipede!!!

If you come with your children, they should have plenty of fun too.  Seeing the chickens, handling the creepy crawlies, enjoying the odd tasty treat and meeting the guide dogs.
