Summer Price Explosion at Drayton Manor gives parents something to smile about

This is a press release, but I love family fun attractions and saving money so thought I would share:

"Mums and dads looking for value for money and the best way to spend their hard earned cash can find an unbeatable offer at Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire, as it launches its ‘2012 Summer Explosion’, with a family day ticket costing just £64!

The park will offer more adventure, excitement, laughter and magical moments during the six weeks of summer with a calendar of activities and guest appearances to suit all ages. After speaking to its visitors, families told the attraction that they were looking for great value and simple, easy to understand offers that would make their money go further.

So the park has been quick to respond, reducing online prices to only £20 for adults, £12 for grandee (60+) and children aged 4 – 11 years old and free for children under four. There will be free parking for those booking in advance as well.

2012 is billed as a special year for the UK, so Drayton Manor wanted to give parents somewhere they can go for a fun, value for money day out and be entertained no matter what age they are.

Whether you want the big thrill rides which take you upside down and enable you to defy gravity, a ride on Apocalypse, voted the best thrill ride by Channel 5’s The Gadget Show or perhaps you fancy a more sedate walk around the zoo after lunch, a day full of entertainment is guaranteed at Drayton Manor.

And that’s not all as the park is home to the famous Thomas Land™ attraction, which keeps children happy for hours, especially when they meet the Fat Controller who is there ready to shake a hand or two at the entrance to Knapford Station! Let’s not forget the new Ben 10: Ultimate Mission rollercoaster either, which landed at the park last year. The list is endless but the fun never stops which is what all families want for a family day out.

The new prices will run from Saturday 21st July until Sunday 2nd September. There will be a maximum of 2,012 of these reduced tickets available each day, so visitors should book early to ensure they get the discounted rate. In addition, Drayton Manor will also provide free car parking for those who qualify for this reduced rate.

Colin Bryan, Drayton Manor Theme Park’s Managing Director, said: “As a family owned and run attraction we want to ensure that we provide the very best value and entertainment for mums and dads with simple and easy to use offers.

“Our Summer Explosion campaign is backed with our rainy day guarantee so if it does rain for an hour continuously during your visit, you also get the opportunity to come back again for free! We hope that we can give families in the UK something to smile about.”
