Poppy Cat DVD Review

Youngest has gone Poppy Cat mad!  We were sent a review copy of the first ever Poppy Cat DVD, “Birthday Treasure and Other Adventures”.  This is great news for fans of the show and going on reaction of my son they are in for a treat!  The content is appealing to both boys and girls with plenty to keep everyone interested.  Even I managed to sit through a couple of episodes quite happily until I was dismissed!  “Mummy please watch this with me…” (A short while later) “Mummy you can go away now!” – charmed I am sure!  Drop my chores, sit nicely and make myself comfortable then get sent away just when I am getting into the show!

The DVD is set to be released on the 3rd of September and I think it’s a must add to your children’s collections, because frankly it gives you some peace and quiet!  I know TV is not a replacement for good parent interaction but sometimes us parents need to catch up with everything else (or just have five minutes peace, with each episode being eleven minutes even better, I can have a cup of tea and check my emails in that time!).

There are lots of adventure, tales of friendship and overcoming obstacles, so heaps of valuable lessons wrapped up in this sweet and fun animation.  The characters are very likeable and it’s all just helped us get more excited about our pending trip to Lollibop to see Poppy Cat Live!!! Whoop Whoop!

You can see the trailer here:

‘Birthday Treasure and Other Adventures’ will be available from all good retailers with a RRP of £12.99 (which is a great price for 2 hours worth of Poppy Cat!).
