Hotter Shoes for Men

My hubbie was in dire need of new shoes, when it comes to work he wants to look smart but comfort is also a huge priority!  He is on his feet a lot, hiking around the office, up and down stairs, attending to the needs of one and all… so having the chance to review some walking shoes was perfect!  He might not be outside but he is definitely active at work.  We were sent the Vulcan Shoes (part of the GORE-TEX range for men), my hubbie has quite wide feet, so he went for a size bigger and that accommodated him well.

These are light enough and smart enough for work use and he now always arrive at work with nice dry feet, because they are waterproof (this is especially handy living in rainy Wales, no one wants to spend the day with wet cold feet!).

Yes they might be more expensive than the last shoes he bought, but I think the quality speaks volumes.  These are one pair that should go the distance and they feel great on according to hubbie.  From now on I think he will be coming to Hotter first because when it comes to your feet, you should not compromise.  From choice it would be ideal to wear slippers at work, but am sure not many would get away with that!  So least with the Vulcan Shoes you feel just as cosy whilst still keeping in with the office look.

Even if you choose not to wear them formally, they are great to wear casually, walking the dog, chasing after the boys and for exploring on holiday.  They are so versatile and multifunctional.  He has yet to feel any discomfort, no aching feet at the end of a long day (phew just in case he decides he wants a foot massage ekk!).  Perhaps I should send him on an epic hike somewhere to truly test them out, but all signs are positive so far.  A great shoe with so much potential!

Head over to Hotter to buy your hubbie a pair, £95 but he will be putty in your hands.  No more grumpy hubbie with sore feet here!

  2. Yes, some men's shoes provide comfort for those with bigger feet. They don't look too bulky so it's good.
