Today we had the conversation what the boys are planning for their future.
Youngest (aged 4): "I want to be a farmer"
Eldest (aged 5): "I want to be on TV"
Then some further thought "or a doctor or a race car driver"
"I know Eeny, meeny, miny, moe"
Imagine if we all based all our career choices on that counting rhyme! Maybe it should be that simple, rather than going through the rigmarole of career advisers advice and lengthy tests to determine your most suited job...
So I asked "What would you like to do on TV?"
"Be on Cartoon Network" he answered very seriously
I said "But your a real boy hunny not a cartoon!"
He sighed dramatically then replied "They are real boys that have been face painted and Darwin (off the Amazing World of Gumball) just has a sock on the back of his head!"
Hmmm... is there something I am missing?!?
