Help Paddington Bear Celebrate his Summer Birthday

On the 25th of June Paddington Bear will be celebrating his birthday, the lucky Bear actually has two birthdays every year (a Winter and a Summer one!).  Paddington Bear is the official mascot of Action Medical Research, the charity that helps sick and disabled children, making a real difference in their lives and funding groundbreaking medical research.

It would be fabulous if as many of my followers as possible could help support Paddington Bear celebrating his birthday and in doing so draw attention to the remarkable efforts of AMR.

How can you get involved?

Spread the word on twitter (use the hashtag #PaddingtonBear) and facebook, wishing Paddington Bear a wonderful birthday; add a picture or a video message to make it even more special.  The friendly bear deserves a big fuss made of him on his birthday after all.

Host a “Bring your Bear” event in you child’s school or nursery.  Children attending can bring a beloved teddy friend and £2 each; the money gets donated straight back to the good work of the AMR.  Today is the last day to register if you would like a fundraising pack complete with stickers and activities you can do at your teddy bears picnic.  So if you’re tempted to host an event, quickly fill in the registration form.

Complete the Paddington quiz on the 25th of June to have a chance of winning an adorable and very soft and cuddly Paddington Bear of your own, signed by none other than TV personality Davina McCall.

Whatever you do will be much appreciated!
