Theatre at its best

I do enjoy some decent theatre, with well cast actors and fabulous props and sets.  This video  makes me think "The Cripple Of Inishmaan" looks just the thing, am tempted to head off and stay with my dear friend in London just to see it (even though it means an epic SIX hour train journey but it looks good enough to make the trip seem more than worthwhile!).    I have not been to the theatre in an absolute age, which is a real shame as nothing beats the atmosphere of a live performance.  When the boys are older am sure theatre trips will be a regular family activity we will all enjoy!

A Hollywood director is searching for a film star in the making to head to Hollywood for a life free of work.  So as you can imagine there are no shortage of willing candidates up for the job!  Very politically incorrect but still quite funny with a good heart.

This is Daniel Radcliffe's third stage performance and he seems happy to carve a career in theatre.  I must admit to being pleased seeing him moving away from his Harry Potter role and using his acting skills more expansively, playing the outsider in this play certainly brings new challenges.
