National Trust Wales Coastal Campaign

I love Wales; I am born and bred here, my children are growing up here and it’s a beautiful place to be!   We have an impressive coastline and there are some fabulous National Trust locations dotted around it.  Remarkably the National Trust cares for 157 miles of Welsh coast, thanks to kindly volunteers keeping everything in order and managing wildlife and the historic places (from hill-forts to strongholds).  I was proposed to at a spot of Welsh coastline, so I am particularly nostalgic about our coastal areas.

I am finding any excuse to head off to explore and see some dramatic scenery and hidden sites of interest.  You never know what you might find when you discover a National Trust location by the coast.  Perfect for adventurers or romantics, young or old, for picnics and walks!

Personally I quite fancy a trip to Llanbedrog the coloured beach huts stand out and the views across Cardigan Bay look nothing short of spectacular.

I am sure you must have your own favourite, but whichever it is, make sure you tell the National Trust what you love most about it.  There is a lovely prize at stake - the chance to win a day’s kayaking and/or coasteering for you and 4 of your friends with the qualified instructors at Stackpole Quay, Pembrokeshire.  To enter simply head to the NTWales facebook page and follow the instructions there using the national trust coastal app.

Using the comments everyone has entered the National Trust will do more of what you love!
