National Share a Story Month - Competition

Sleep does not come easy when you become a parent, you hear a cough, a movement or a bump (usually eldest bashes his head on his wardrobe!) and you head off to check everything is okay.  I do anyway, but my friends know I am prone to worrying.  It’s in my nature I cannot seem to shake it off!
And it’s not only getting yourself to sleep that can be difficult, but getting your children settled and fast asleep can often be a nightly battle. I try and stick to a nightly routine, which includes bath time and reading a bedtime story. We all know how important bedtime stories are when you have little ones – it is the perfect way to settle the children down before bed, inspire their imaginations and share some quality time together.
I was delighted to hear that that month of May is officially “National Share a Story Month”, an annual celebration of storytelling worldwide!  To celebrate “National Share a story Month” I have teamed up with The Bedding Company to give away this adorable Silentnight Hippo Cuddly toy for your little ones to snuggle up with while they enjoy their nightly story.
As you can see from the picture this is one prize that will make you go awwww. It might also help you encourage your own children into their pyjamas and getting ready for bed as they get to show the Silentnight Hippo how clever they are at listening!
Losing sleep is no fun; it’s where my blog name originated from, all those nights trying to settle the boys or dealing with their ridiculously early morning starts (no 1am is not acceptable; 6am is enough of a struggle!!!). This month, let’s all celebrate the (often lifesaving) bedtime story – sharing that special time together to read their favourite story. If you would like this adorable Silentnight Hippo to be their new bedtime companion, assuming you can give it up!  It’s quite adorable you might not want to share – enter the competition below and you can read a little more about National Share a Story Month on The Bedding Company blog.
If you would like to enter simply complete the rafflecopter below by the 31st of May.
