Mealtimes are tough in our house and breakfast is no exception. If anything it’s usually worse as we are trying desperately to get out of the house in time for school, making sure they have a piece of fruit, homework bag, P.E Kit and bottle of water in tow! But most of all I want to make sure they have had a decent breakfast to give them a good start to the day.
Usually they eat there breakfast so slowly I have to keep reminding them every few moments to keep eating!!! It’s painful sometimes, they must take an hour to eat cereal, have a yoghurt and drink their milk… and depending on the time they got up we do not always have that luxury.
Fortunately we were sent three packets of delicious belVita Breakfast Crunchy biscuits to savour everything great about mornings!
Mornings have become easier with these biscuits as the boys love them, so I have no difficulties with long drawn out breakfasts anymore!
There are some lovely things about mornings that never fail to make me smile, even if the day started on the wrong side of 7am! Usually the boys come in for a cuddle first thing; I can never tire of their wonderful cuddles. They bound in so full of life its hard not to feel some of their enthusiasm to start the day! Plus I am thankful each day is a fresh start, if the one before was tricky and their behaviour was less than ideal we have a clean slate to start over. The tantrums and tears from the day before can be forgotten and we can focus on the positives.
I love having breakfast wrapped up in a blanket on the sofa watching Netflix with my boys. The weekend mornings are my favourite when we can more leisurely and stay in pyjama’s for much longer. But for those mornings when its all a mad hectic rush all I can say is thank heaven for belVita Breakfast biscuits. They taste delicious and steadily release carbohydrates to keep you going for four hours. Add a little fruit and a drink of milk and its a balanced breakfast for all the family.
