Mothers Day with Truprint #millionmumssmile

Sunday March the 15th is the date to celebrate everything we are grateful about mums!  I am fortunate my mum is still with me so I will be making sure she has a lovely present for the day and you cannot go wrong with personalised picture gifts.  Although I must admit I did use my Truprint voucher to get a few more for our own house.  This one is a family day out at a theme park.

I really want to make a picture wall so when you walk past all those cherished memories can be instantly remembered especially when I am having a tough day parenting two lively little boys!!!  In the short time I have tried to write this post I have had to separate them no less than 10 times… it seems wrestling is the order for the day!  I really appreciate the sacrifices, devotion and love of my own parents; I think it only really sinks in when you have lived life as a parent yourself and understand the highs and the lows!

When picking out a picture I realised how few photos actually featured me.  I am usually taking the pictures and its such a shame we do not have more together all four of us as a family.  Life whizzes on by and its important to capture as much of that as possible for the future.  I will be trying to get more pictures with my own mum too.

One thing I would love to try is recreating old photos; I saw an article somewhere of two grown men that did it with hilarious effect posing as they had when they were young babies, what a fantastic idea!  I am not sure my brother would be game for that, but perhaps it might be something my boys try in the future (assuming they can stop wrestling for long enough!!!).
