Spring Fashion for Children

Little daffodils are starting to appear around the garden, a sign that spring is most definitely on its way.  Its time to start thinking about shopping for a more suitable wardrobe!  I want us to hang up the warm winter coats, the hats and scarves and start wearing lighter clothes.

Melijoe have some great items on trend and ideal for the change of season.  Although the weather generally gets warmer it can still be wet (April showers!) and windy, so it’s important to get a waterproof jacket.  I really like this BillyBandit jacket (£41.55) as my two are often reluctant to wear coats of any shape or form, but the design of this particular one makes it very appealing for children with the monster face and spikes on the hood.

Denim is a popular spring fashion this year and there are so many pairs of lovely jeans for boys on the site, different colours and styles.  Teamed up with imaginative t-shirts possibly with vintage print you cannot go wrong this spring 2015.  Fresh colours are important but nothing too overwhelming.  Red, white and blue are colours of the season, I really think this Tru Trussardi cotton jersey t-shirt (£32.48) is just perfect!

Or statement prints that have a message that reflects your child’s personality can work well too.  “Live like you mean it!” (£18.89) is one in particular that caught my eye.

Also think quirky cartoon prints, spring is a time to be noticed when your not wrapped up in quite so many layers!!!  The Moschino Printed Poplin Bermudas (£129.18) might be a little bit pricey but they are bound to get you noticed on the beach.  You can stand out as the cool kid!

My boys want outside more when the weather improves but they hate their shoelaces slowing them down, slip on shoes are great for this time of year.  These Vans canvas ones look great.
