Mountain Warehouse Review

I was more than happy to receive the Mountain Warehouse latest catalogue and was quite taken by the prices when it arrived!  The items are very affordable and it’s not all hiking boots and extreme weather jackets, you can actually find some attractive tops alongside all the other essential survival gear.

I was sent an Aurora Womens Convertible Shirt in Green, which is on sale for £15.99 at the moment, so a real steal.  I love this shirt it’s very light so ideal for the warmer weather.  The convertible aspect refers to the sleeves, which can be rolled up and secured; I think this is handy if you wanted to wear it with shorts and sandals.  As it was I wore it with my trusty boots, I am thinking this shirt will be perfect for a hen night I am attending soon.  I am going as a cowgirl and this breathable cotton shirt will make sure I do not overheat when I start dancing!!!  I just need to order my Stetson hat and the look is complete.  In-between though I will be regularly wearing this shirt anyway, it’s very comfortable.

I also had a rather fabulous Trilby Straw Sun Hat, which was another bargain at £5.99; the reductions at the moment make it an excellent time to stock up.  Although I did not get to enjoy my new hat for long as my eldest promptly claimed it, although he does look rather dapper in it!  I doubt I will get it back he sees it as his statement piece, probably to impress his “girlfriend”.

Pinched my new hat to review, although it does suit him better! x

The clearance section of the site is worth a good nose, with discounts up to 80% you need to be quick otherwise you will miss out to another savvy customer.  I saw a snowsuit for £14.99 (reduced from £79.99!), so if you have a 2-3 year old or a 5-6 year old its almost worth booking a ski trip just to get the deal…

I will be regularly keeping an eye on the Mountain Warehouse website from now on.
