My mum absolutely loves fresh flowers so when I had the opportunity to review a bouquet from the Valentines Flowers range from Blossoming Gifts I thought I would let my mum have a wonderful surprise instead. My brother thinks I am just trying to get brownie points over him and try and alter his self-titled “favourite child” status!!! I see it as spreading a little joy around.
My mum was absolutely delighted when the 12 Deluxe Red Roses (£27.99) arrived in perfect condition. My dad bless him loves my mum but is not one for grand romantic gestures so I thought it was nice for me to make a fuss of her for a change. Flowers are a delightful gift that can really lift your mood. Just the act of bringing a little bit of nature into your home with one of these pretty bouquets helps take away some of the stresses of day-to-day life.
If you use the code BGIFTS33 whilst ordering from the Blossoming Gifts website you can get 33% off a bouquet of your choice (not including the ones in the flowers by post range) making it a very affordable gift this Valentines.
Blossoming Gifts is a lovely site to navigate, the bouquets are attractively presented and when the roses arrived they looked just as good as the stock picture. The bouquet was simply packaged inside its protective box with white wrapping paper and a string bow, which looked very effective and drew my mum’s attention to the flowers themselves. If you really want to spoil your loved one why not add an additional gift with the flowers, like a cute teddy, some tasty chocolates or a bottle of wine.
I have the stunning Deepwater Rose & Lily bouquet pictured below to offer to the lucky winner of my competition. The country jug is not included but available to buy for £7.99.
