UK premiere of The LEGO® Movie™ #New4DAdventure

On Saturday we attended the UK premiere of the LEGO® Movie™ 4D A New Adventure, it was a star-studded event and the movie was awesome in every respect.  The boys were thrilled to walk down the red carpet and meet their favourite characters from the adventure.  Personally I was over the moon to spot Gillian Anderson (being a huge X-Files fan); evidently she likes LEGO as much as everyone else!

The boys chomped on popcorn and watched the plot unfold; everyone was on the edge of their seats wondering how the heroes would escape the evil secret plot!

It was a gripping 12 minutes filled with suspense, action and humour, the addition of the 4D elements making the adventure even more immersive.  But even on its own it’s a fantastic story!  I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but it cracked me up, I love the ride that Risky Business (a new character) had developed for Emmet!  Let’s just say it suited his conservative nature perfectly…

It was quite interactive with all the children in the audience helping Wyldstyle and Emmet pick out the bricks they needed, in a way getting to feel like master builders themselves.  The cinema was filled with laughter everyone including the grownups completely engrossed in the hilarious adventure.  Adam Pava (writer of “The Boxtrolls”) who wrote this cinema presentation has done a superb job capturing the unique personalities of the characters, Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, MetalBeard and Benny.

I do not want to give too much away, but suffice to say a visit to LEGOLAND® now must include a trip their cinema more than ever before!!!

  12. The four meter tent can house two people, depending on their size. And while this tent isn’t point-rock resistant, it is water-proof and fire retardant, for those rainy evening when you want to roast smores outside.pure sleep cost
