Easter Fun with SpongeBob SquarePants at intu

Keeping the kids happy over the Easter holidays is not always easy, we have had some grumbles and the mood has definitely darkened as we have got closer to back to school day!  intu commissioned some research and found that half of UK parents only laugh once a day or less with their children, I can relate to this the days can be long and their demands unrealistic at times.  Apparently 28% of parents say they find it stressful keeping their children entertained, I am surprised that figure isn't higher! Although I guess it depends on the age of your children, some can keep themselves occupied playing out with their friends but I fall into the percentage that find it hard!

It’s tricky keeping upbeat when I have two moaning mini’s and I am trying to juggle my blog too.  Working from home has its challenges because I try and give the boys the best holiday I can whilst keep my blog ticking away in the background.  Hubbie has had to work more than ever too as he had deadlines for the year-end, so I did not get much support from him over the holiday.

I find the cost of the holidays difficult to manage too; we seem to spend a lot more when the boys are off school.  To make things easier for parents intu hosted a free Spongebob SquarePants Laughter party over the Easter break.  You still have a chance to make the intu Victoria Centre event that is on from Monday the 11th to Friday 15 April.  On the Monday you have a chance to meet the main man himself, what a great picture opportunity with Spongebob SquarePants.  I am sure laughter will be in abundance with interactive fun and games including a limbo challenge, hysterical prank classes, musical pant bumps!  So no worry about expense or keeping the children occupied relax, unwind and let the giggles lift your spirits!  My two adore Spongebob SquarePants like many other children so give them a memorable Easter having lots of fun!

The 2,000 UK parents were also asked what they thought their children would most like to do over Easter, and almost half (46%) believed that their children would want to spend time with family.  Well I have certainly delivered that being at home the whole holiday with them, but I think they get fed up with my company because I am always there; I am not such a novelty!  So I do my best to find exciting activities to take them too to keep the holidays enjoyable, so if you are close to this intu shopping centre I envy you as it sounds like a really lovely event.

You can find more information from the Spongebob section of the intu website.
