Our Woodland Walk with Lighthouse

I was delighted to be sent a new coat to review, my current coat is still in good condition don’t get me wrong but is a longer coat and I found the mid hip length of the Isla Short Waterproof Coat much more flattering, especially as you can also adjust the waist cord if you wanted so it looks more fitted (be gone cake tummy!).

I have had so many compliments about the coat; everyone really likes the colour (watermelon).  Lighthouse helps make you effortlessly stylish; I am not one for primping myself endlessly before I go out luckily with clothes this lovely anyone can look and feel great.

The coat was very comfortable to wear; we went on a woodland walk to test out our items and I found my coat to be lightweight and breathable.  Priced at £74.95 its worth it for all the useful features, its highly waterproof and machine washable.  If you love getting outdoors and want a coat that suits your lifestyle then Lighthouse seems a good option.  It has all the features you would need but it does not compromise on style.

Lighthouse design their clothes for you to explore and adventure in whilst still looking fabulous.  I was pleased that they sent my youngest their Cadet Cotton Jersey Top (£23.95), it felt like a quality item and I think he looked very handsome wearing it.

Whilst we were there youngest tried a new skill and made a wooden flower.  The top not only looks good it is very practical for whatever you decide to do with your day.

There was a bit of a breeze but he stayed warm and cosy in this.

I like the philosophy behind Lighthouse, valuing the simple things in life, wanting to get outdoors and discover the world around you, whilst having clothing that can cope with the challenges of the British weather!  If hubbie and I always waited for the sunshine to get the boys outdoors we would be cooped up a lot more but it is nice that the sun decided to grace us with its presence.
