Hen Party Inspiration

I need to do some things over, as I never had them the first time round!  I am still overdue a hen night, I was four months pregnant when I got married at 28 years old so had other priorities and a hen night went sadly uncelebrated!  But deep down I still feel I am owed one, to tick off my life’s list of things to do…

I have a close-knit group of friends so it makes sense to have an “official” excuse just for another PARTY!  I enjoy our get togethers but would like something more ambitious for our next shindig.  The boys are a bit older and happy enough with daddy for a few days so I could formulate a plan.  I quite like the look of Dublin and it would be lovely to getaway from the same old routine and have a taste of what the city has to offer - the bustling nightlife especially.

You can read 20 great things to do in Dublin for inspiration, walking down the cobblestone streets, nipping into art galleries, enjoying some Irish stew to fortify you before you drink or if you time your visit well come for St Patrick's Day and enjoy watching all the street performers and extra entertainment on offer.

Naturally hen parties can be expensive but you can shop around, much like anything you plan on purchasing these days – do your research and see where you can make savings.  The more you save the bigger your alcohol budget can be when you’re actually away.  Hen Party Latino created an infographic which you can see on their site that sums it up quite nicely, shop wisely for your accommodation and enjoy more Prosecco in the process!  I would drink to that!!!

I would probably pick out an apartment so we would have more room for our stay; part of the excitement of being away is getting ready together.

You can also save a bit extra by having a few drinks before heading out and even have a meal (or order a takeaway between you) in the apartment rather than spending so much at expensive restaurants.  All freeing up some extra funds for when you do hit the bars and clubs and want to enjoy more bottles of something fizzy!  Although forget the extra alcohol budget I probably would be swayed by the naked chef experience just to have a giggle with my friends…

Hen Party Latino helps you build a package to make your hen party memorable – from arriving in style in a limousine or booking additional activities.  It is easier going to a company that has experience delivering everything so you get tried and tested activities that are bound to go down well with your group.  We spent a lot during a friend’s hen party in Liverpool on a Burlesque experience and to be honest for the price it wasn’t very good at all.  So if you can look out for reviews and always book from an established company.
