Foame Review and Competition

We were sent two packs of Foame a soft construction toy that you can use in or out of the bath.  We had the Adventures (£40) and Boats (£30) sets but you can also purchase a Creatures set (£20) – they come in a handy storage bag complete with an instruction booklet filled with different things you can attempt to build.  The designers really have thought of everything, they have looked at the problems children might have with their current bath and construction toys and instead made this versatile toy that is the very best of both worlds.

The storage bag has suckers so you can keep it in the bathroom to make that part of the day more interesting!  No worries about getting them to go for a bath anymore, you might just find they never want to come back out again.

I love how the pieces are so soft, when they were scattered all over the floor I had no worries about any of us hurting our feet, it’s a smooth surface that won’t cause you any pain!!!  Always a bonus - because let’s be honest my two are not the best at tidying up after themselves and I usually end up limping away (silently swearing under my breath!) having trampled on a piece of LEGO.

I could not get over how enthusiastic eldest who is nine was about Foame, he quickly rushed off to build a few projects and kept coming back to excitedly let us know what he had made.  He liked the two sets so much he actually used his own money and asked me to order him the Creatures set.  It’s a huge compliment for Foame as to how much he really liked the toy, as he is not one to carelessly spend his own money without lots of consideration and thought.

Foame is a toy that really encourages children’s imaginations and creative abilities, its wonderful seeing them transform the pieces into a crane, pirate ship or long boat.  Even though its pitched at children 3+ it will still hold the interest of children much older, you might even find yourself tempted to join in the fun.

If you would like to win the Adventures pack (£40) please fill out the form below by the 5th of January.
