I was sent this to review as it makes a lovely mothers day present, you can spend quality time with your daughter and make them together. Lacking a daughter and skills in modelling beads into anything presentable, I decided to let a mummy friend of mine review for me. She had a very willing eight year old who was more than happy to assist in this matter and make something to be treasured with her mum.
Over to my friend (a now new mummy blogger herself) and her very capable daughter:
My 8-year-old daughter loved this kit. She couldn’t wait to open the box and dive into all the shiny charms, bracelets, glitter and colourful clay. I worked with her through the booklet so that she could practice the basic techniques in line with the suggestions in the instructions. Once mastered she was making beads of every kind all on her own.
The instruction booklet was very easy to follow and definitely child friendly. It gives lots of tips and ideas on how to make basic beads and more complicated beads. It even inspires you to become even more creative. Children with an imagination will have hours of fun designing and making bracelets, charms, necklaces and more.
The kit comes with everything you will need to make the beads. They simply need to be baked in the oven for 15minutes to set them. Great attention has been paid to presenting this craft kit, with luxury black drawstring bags to keep your bracelets in, a pink organiser storage box to keep all the charms, links and equipment in. My daughter loved it so much she has told me she wants the Mystyle craft kits ‘shrink craft’ and ‘clay bead jewellery’ for her Birthday!!!
