We have yet to have been on one of these egg hunts but they do indeed sound rather enticing. The beauty of National Trust locations for an Easter egg hunt with the reward of Cadburys at the end when you solve a series of questions… I cannot think of many finer ways to spend an afternoon. You can read more about the Easter egg hunts and see for yourself how fun they look!
So make sure your children get some fresh air and this Easter weekend (6th – 9th April) and join one of the enchanting Easter Egg Trails across 280 spectacular National Trust places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This will be the fifth year the event has been run, so you know it must be pretty good if they keep repeating (and refining it!) so off you go now and find the best location to take your children, if your lucky they might share their prize! After the egg hunt there is plenty more to do, like face painting and an egg and spoon race.
