Children are often reluctant to wear reins; they do not
like their love of freedom and exploration of the wide world restrained in any
way. They would prefer to keep us at
our wits end panicking as they rush about, when all we want is to keep them out
of harms way.
friend was hopeful trying out Goldbug reins would be a more positive experience
and she was not disappointed. We were
sent the Buddy Puppy Ivory, but there are so many to choose from (a staggering
25 in total), that your child will definitely find a firm favourite amongst
an RRP of £19.99 they are not much more expensive them plain reins but the
added element of a fun character means your child is more receptive to wearing
reins. So much so my friends son did
not want to take them off! You even
have a little storage pocket, where he kept his dummy and a flat teether. This way you will never be without a dummy
when you have an emergency crying situation on your hands!
friend felt she had good control and grip of her son and the reins were well
made and strong. Whilst they were off
on their adventures she received plenty of complimentary remarks off people, so
she relished in the praise! A
well-behaved son walking nicely with a cute puppy on his back made life seems
much brighter. Much better than trying
to coax a toddler along holding hands, where they manage to weave away at the
slightest glimmer of excitement, if you pass a puddle, a flower, or an
interesting coloured dot on the floor that’s it you have lost!!! Whilst they run off to see whatever they
have found they might fall or trip and obviously as parents we worry about the
dangers of the road.
would definitely recommend these reins, I am just a little sad my boys made do
with plain reins now because these would have been a real hit! It might have made my battle with reins a
winning one… these are so great even older siblings want to get involved!
