Baby TV Competition

am excited to bring you this fabulous competition to win not one but two DVD
bundles. Each one has 6 DVD’s
from Baby TV’s “My First Years” making up the complete library of
episodes (worth £60). When mine were younger I
thought Baby TV was perfect to keep them entertained, so I know this is ideal
for parents of children aged 6 months to 4 years. You can see the lovely prize package in the picture below, what a
selection, plenty to keep them occupied here (and give you a little peace and
quiet in the process!).

Alongside my competition Baby TV
have a very timely “royal” competition currently running. It is very simple to enter, all you have to
do is think about what you would call the Royal Baby due soon and why. The winner will then have some unique prizes
to treasure featuring their child. I
especially love the idea of a soft toy made in the likeness of your child as a
cartoon, would make a welcome change from the swelling population of bunnies
and lions here anyway. You have till the 28th
of June to enter the Royal Name Game.

Would you stick with something
traditional or a more unusual name?!?
Interestingly Baby TV did a nationwide survey and found almost 60% of
British mums choose their child’s name with dads having just 21%
influence. In our case I would agree as
poor hubbie was steamrolled over and I enforced my choices! But I could not have had him calling eldest
Blade, just because he liked the Vampire action film of the same name… sigh! After all I had to cope with the pain of
childbirth surely that gives me extra naming privileges! So perhaps we will see the Princess taking the lead on the final decision.

Celebrities do seem to influence parent’s
choice, but a massive 70% still prefer traditional options like Matthew,
Thomas, Emily and Olivia. I must admit
I am quite partial to names inspired by places like 1.87% surveyed
preferred. But having not travelled
anywhere of note with hubbie in the short time we were together before baby
number 1 came along (it was a whirlwind romance!), we did not pursue that option… we would have been very
