My hopeful entry #MarkWarnerMum

My
attempts at skiing cross country when visiting an old friend made through a
Camp America adventure in my teens were laughable at best, I was abandoned by
my friend and her (now) hubbie and left to my own devices with their German
friend, thankfully he had more patience and gently coaxed me along rather than
giving up on me and leaving me in the wilds of Finland to be eaten by a
wolf!

I spent a lot of time on my bum during that holiday! It would be nice to have some proper guidance and a chance to learn some moves on the slope.

I
am hoping to give my boys a head start and a chance of learning to ski at a
younger age, an age where they are naturally more adventurous and excited by
new challenges. I admittedly am not a
huge fan of the cold but the thought of a visit with Mark Warner is much more
appealing. Since my roadtrip to Finland
many moons ago, I have only ventured to warmer climes but Mark Warner offer
cosy chalets and afternoon teas as a big enticement to have a family ski
holiday instead. That bit of luxury might bring the smile back on my face… cooking food yourself was not so much fun when your cold and very hungry from skiing hard (well falling on bottoms for hours is very tiring!)!

Mealtimes
are my least favourite time of the day, coaxing the boys to eat up whilst
trying to actually taste our own food (usually we bolt it down so fast just to
focus on getting them to eat their own).
As a very tired mummy the thought of a little help with childcare so I
can make the most of the three-course dinner is again another reason to hope
for a chance to represent Mark Warner. But it is not only myself that is keen to win, I have two cute boys (aged four and six) desperate to hit the slopes!

Here
are my boys giving you their best skiing moves and faces, with some fabulous
homemade cardboard skii’s and goggles, but just think how much more fun they
will have with the real equipment out on the real slopes! They are so enthusiastic bless them;
youngest wanted to watch a skiing video so he knew what to do so here they are desperately
waiting for snow. We hardly ever have snow here, I bought them sledges two years ago and they are STILL waiting to be used, sigh!

So
wish me luck in our quest to be a #MarkWarnerMum. If you would like to enter yourself then head to their website for more
information, it really is the most amazing opportunity and one we are desperate to win!
