Barny Winter Adventures

Unfortunately with the dreadful weather our outdoor
adventuring has been limited. Usually
we enjoy a very long walk of the weekend, but we have endured floods,
torrential rain and of course the gale force winds. Now I hear snow is on its way so our winter adventure was mainly
an indoor teddy bear’s picnic.

Growing up we used to have lots of indoor picnics when the
weather was bad. Sometimes even when it wasn’t just because it was good fun! My
boys picked out some of their favourite soft toy teddies and enjoyed sitting on
a blanket with a cup of milk and a Barny bear shaped snack to eat.

Being thorough testers hubbie and I of course had to
sample them too. I was secretly quite
impressed, I love cake and these were on the whole quite tasty with a nice
fruit filling, plus of course they are so adorable being bear shaped.

boys enjoyed both the flavours they were sent (Strawberry and Apple) and I was
glad that Barny contains no artificial colours or preservatives so when the
boys insist on yet another snack I do not feel quite so guilty handing them one
of these. I think I will be buying a
couple more packets (RRP £1.69), I am definitely keen to try out the chocolate
variety, as are the boys, we are all big chocoholics here!

I actually managed to get a picture of Barny outside, youngest decided to dig
up the front garden and feeling a little exhausted after his efforts asked if
he could have a Barny to revive himself!

is an entry for BritMums ‘Winter Little Adventures Challenge’ sponsored by
Barny, individually wrapped bear-shaped sponges with a hidden filling.
