boys love sweets so they were chomping at the bit literally to get reviewing
these. Reading the pack though I was
more conscious of being treat aware and not leaving both packets for them to
munch on. But a few sweets now and then
are a welcome treat as part of a balanced diet.
The shapes are interesting. One packet was based around animals and the other around body
bits, so both things children are interested in and keen to learn more
about. The packets (160g) also hold
further information which eldest enjoyed reading. There is one further packet available to buy that is the Myths
& Monsters one. I think that
particular pack might go down well especially at Halloween (with Dracula
amongst the sweets!).
can come up with adventures with the shapes but I must admit my boys were far
too quick with the eating part to even consider this. But it’s the extra facts on the packets that really caught their
interest. Eldest especially loves
learning new things and increasing his knowledge so he can go into school and
share intriguing facts with his friends! Like “Every day, the heart creates
enough energy to drive a truck 20 miles” – I for one am pretty impressed by
that little nugget of information.
available to buy from all major retailers, so keep an eye out for them when
you’re next shopping. The packets we
were sent have an RRP of £1.52 for an average of 26 sweets. The sweets are a good size so I think its
reasonable value and going on my boys reaction your children will be
happy! As a parent I am pleased Maynard
have managed to bring some educational value to sweets as well. There is also an app you can download and
then scan the front of each pack for yet more facts!
