There is a new kids festival in town and it looks set to be a
hit! If you head to Tatton Park,
Cheshire over the May bank holiday (Sat 23rd to Mon 25th)
you are in for a treat.
Lots of fantastic entertainment is lined up and we cannot
wait to head there ourselves. The great
thing about kids festivals is they are a fabulous way to try out lots of
different activities in one convenient place, from den building and camel
riding to a circus and a zip-line there will be plenty to appeal to everyone in
It can be hard finding things to do to occupy your children for a
whole day, they get bored if you stick with the same thing for too long. This is why a festival like Geronimo works so
well, your children can sample lots of experiences whatever their interests and
attention span! The event is aimed at
under thirteen’s and everything is tailored to encourage children to play and
learn in an imaginative and creative way.
It sounds like the memories they make here will last a lifetime.
festival director Simon who has seven children is all about creating an amazing
family event that is good value. He has
first hand experience of so many attractions and UK events over the years (his
eldest is 16) that he knows what works and what doesn’t. I like how even quiet time with a renowned
storyteller is also incorporated into the schedule, after a burst of energy it
does children good to have a little rest!
Mr Bloom &
Katy Ashworth will be live on stage everyday, we have seen a Katy Ashworth show
in Butlins and we certainly approve of this news, she is fantastic with
children, my two were enthralled!
The early bird ticket prices go live on the 2nd of February
and you can take advantage of the £16 per person price if you’re quick! A family ticket for four is £75; this in
itself is very reasonable as the day is jam packed with fun and thrills. You can find out more information and book
tickets through the Geronimo website.
