As a family we love visiting theme packs, we have very
full days usually staying from when they open till the very last moment when
they close. We have a map and target
the attractions area by area to make the most of our time there. LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort is our firm favourite but a day
there for our family of four can set us back £137 (with booking seven days in
advance and taking advantage of an online discount). If you then decided to see Chessington and THORPE PARK Resort seeing as
they are all in the vicinity you would be looking at another £104 (booking
online five days in advance) and £99.96 (again booking online rather than the
gate price) respectively. The costs
soon mount up!
you can see why we have been tempted with Merlin Annual Passes this year,
those three visits alone are not far off the total cost of passes for our
family for the year. Then we can visit
all of those attractions and more (31 worlds of fun in total) as much as we
like throughout the year. It provides
phenomenal value for money. Some of the
parks are so vast you can come back the next day and finish the rides you
missed without feeling guilty about any extra costs! Legoland is definitely a two-day affair if you want to do it justice
but that does not matter when you have a Merlin Annual Pass and can visit as
much as you like for one bargain price. With parks updating all the time its worth going back regularly to see what is new!
Entertaining children does not come cheaply normally but
if you live close to an attraction getting Merlin Annual Passes makes good sense even if you live further afield you soon get a return on your initial outlay. The summer holidays will be a breeze knowing
you can keep them happy at some of the best and biggest UK attractions, no more
bored children complaining they do not know what to do with themselves. We are so looking forward to attempting to
do most of the attractions in one year with our passes!!! The Blackpool Tower and London Eye are ones
the boys have not experienced yet. I
will not be panicking now about the costs of the school holidays because the
boys will be making magical Merlin memories, like feeding these beautiful Lorikeets nectar.
Visit www.merlinannualpass.co.uk to buy your passes in the Summer Sale, they
start at £109pp. We have been provided with passes to write about our experiences through the year, but I would have gladly paid that to access all that is on offer.
