was delighted to receive the following two sets from the new range at LEGO; I
had Commander Cody and Jango Fett both with an RRP of £14.99.

The range includes many more figures, Darth
Vader especially looks very commanding and impressive, even though he is the
bad guy I do love his screen presence and his LEGO figure holds the same awe.
new LEGO Star Wars™ Force Awakens range is ideal for
Christmas gifts, children love LEGO but these particular sets are well timed
for the film release in December. I
have a feeling Christmas wish lists will be very Star Wars heavy in
figures once built allow you to recreate scenes from the film and relive the
excitement all over again. Each set has
fabulous details to enhance playability, Jango Fett as a dangerous bounty
hunter coming complete with blaster pistols and a jetpack and Commander Cody has
a sizeable blaster rifle! So with two villains at home I
really need to purchase a good guy or two to make it a fair battle, with a few
more characters the boys would also have more fun interacting with the figures,
seeing how the different weapons work and coming up with their own story lines.
I think the price is very
reasonable for the evident quality of the models. It’s wonderful having the entertainment of building the set, both
the ones we were sent were for ages 7-12, each provide adequate challenge but
the instructions are always clear so its an achievable project for children in
that age range. Then you can go one of
two ways, display your builds proudly or use them to engage in impressive battles
(the boys preferred option). Thankfully
the models are quite sturdy so you do not have to build the figure back up if you’re
a little rough (I find the 6 year old tends to go all out in fight scenes!).
