Selfie Clothing Review & Competition

I was really excited to be sent
the Selfie Clothing Colour In
Tops to amuse the boys. Half term has
been full of cries of “I’m bored!” so I was very grateful to pass them a tub
each filled with an interesting top, a set of permanent fabric markets and a
practise sheet. I needed some peace and
quiet and this activity certainly delivered that! Not bad for £15 when you have a craft activity and a nice top for
them to wear afterwards.

Hooray for #selfieclothing a bit of peace whilst they colour their new tops @selfie_clothing x

As for the boys they seemed quite
happy to get creative, it’s lovely that they get to wear their handiwork
afterwards, it motivates them to do a good job.

I think it’s useful having a
practise sheet included so they can make sure they get their vision right for
the real thing. My eldest was keen to
practise whereas youngest had a short go before deciding it was more fun to
start designing straightaway.

There are lots of tops to pick
from, we went for the Pirate and the Cowboy but you also have a Fireman,
Indian, Police Officer, Princess, Robot and Superhero – so enough to keep
everyone happy! The tops themselves are
quite lightweight so ideal for summer now its getting warmer.

For best results you need to iron
on after colouring, but my boys took a breather and carried on the next
day! I am still feeling optimistic
though. I enjoyed seeing them colouring
in, it’s a nice calm and peaceful activity, my boys are so noisy and boisterous
it’s refreshing to engage in a quieter activity every now and then. I like how my youngest made his feathers so
bright and colourful.

These tops would make lovely
gifts; they are presented nicely in little cardboard tubs and let children be
artistic and have something to show for it in the end, you really cannot
grumble with the price either.

I have a competition to giveaway one of these Colour
In Tops please kindly enter using the form below by the 5th of July.

  1. Can be nice to have something which is personalised, or unique to self etc. Means can have picture of something / someone whom is of interest etc.

  2. I tried to edit above comment without success. I had wanted to add :- Could maybe have picture of self with GrandParents on T-shirt etc.

  3. I love these. I was going to get the children to write on some plain fabric and make cushions out of it but these would be better!

  4. These are perfect for my 5 year old niece (5 today actually). She is rather fond of drawing on things, such as walls, doors, candles etc – she managed to colour quite a few things in my house on her last visit so to have an item of clothing to decorate would be wonderful for her. What a good idea.

  5. These are an amazing idea! What child wouldn't want to own these?! Mine think they are a fantastic idea and definitely something they would really love to have.

  6. Wow, I think Phoenix and Maxx would love to try these. 🙂 They are getting very artistic at the moment and Maxx has a habit of taking his clothes off (he's only 2 and a bit) but think he would enjoy showing people what he had done and be proud to wear it. Thank you for the chance.
