Introducing Patak’s New Frozen Curry Range #giveaway

I have been a little
concerned this summer holiday over how many takeaways we keep getting! It’s crazy how quickly the cost can add up
when you eat out regularly. I know why we
do it, come the evening meal we are all pretty tired out after busy days
juggling work, childcare and the house.
We crave the convenience of an easier option, thankfully Patak’s have developed a range of six frozen
curries that are appealing to the palate whilst being extremely easy to
prepare. Hubbie will be elated as
cooking duties usually fall to him.

Plus
at £2 each frozen meal they are very affordable so less of the stress panicking
about how much of your money is spent on food alone! I really love a decent curry – admittedly I tend to stick to a
Korma, I tend to shy away from anything too spicy, but the line up of six meals
includes something for everyone from those that prefer the milder option right
up to a Vindaloo. The King Prawn Balti
could tempt me just because it looks so good on the packet…

It’s great to see such an
established brand enter the ready meal category. We have used Patak’s sauces for years, but as a busy parent its
nice to get a quick microwave meal sometimes and not have all the time and mess
preparing something from scratch (well jar anyway, let’s not get too carried
away!). I can just imagine us stocking
up for our monthly date night, accompanied with a nice glass of wine for a
pleasant evening together – without all the chaos in the kitchen to face
afterwards!

I
have teamed up with Patak’s to giveaway 18 curries (worth £36), which will set
the winner up quite nicely for National Curry Week (October 10th – 16th) and give them an opportunity to taste the six in the range (beef madras, chicken korma, chicken vindaloo,
king prawn balti, vegetable jalfrezi and chicken tikka masala!). If you would like to enter please fill out
the form below by the 22nd of September.

  1. I've been using Patak's since 1987 when my mate did one for me – stunningly nice and an instant convert. Prefer the paste to the sauce but interested to see what these are like.

  2. I normally try and make curries from scratch but sometimes when I don't have time or can't be bothered it's great to have some Patak ones in the freezer!

  3. I used to get though so much Patak's Madras paste when I was at uni. It was the perfect way to cook up a tasty curry with whatever ingredients I had and it was cost effective too.

  4. We're big Patak's fans in this house. I recently ordered takeout from a local Indian restaurant and it was delicious, but the following week I made my own using Patak's Jalfrezi for the veg curry and Butter Chicken for the meat one. Well! The plates were licked (boyfriend's sign that he's enjoyed his food). It tasted as good as, if not better, than our authentic takeout. That's what I love about Patak's, the depth of flavours and how simple it is to make a fabulous curry at home to suit everyone's palate!

  5. One of my fave dinners is a home cooked prawn or chicken curry, made with Pataks Balti, Korma or Tikka sauces. It's sooooo quick and easy to prepare, and always tastes delicious; as good as from high quality Indian restaurants 🙂

  6. I love Patak's. In addition to their sauces, I use their creamed coconut a lot and recommend it for all kinds of recipes, especially cakes.

  7. I reguarly use the Pataks jars, naans and pastes for my curries but have not seen the frozen meals. would be great on those days where you just don't have the energy to cook a full meal and as a snack in the afternoon before the school run.

  8. I trust Pataks completely – I have toured their factory and everything is made just as I would make it at home, only on a far, far bigger scale. Their food hygiene standards are 100% strictly adhered to as well.

  9. Making meals with Patak's sauces has always worked out well, so what's not to like about their frozen meals for when you want the same result, but quicker, with less work, and less washing up?

  10. I can't wait to try these! I love Patak's cooking sauces, they are so flavoursome and excellent quality. In fact, they are the only Indian cooking sauces I would consider buying!

  11. My special needs teenager introduced me to Pataks food. He's a fussy eater but enjoys a variety of Pataks. My younger two kids have recently tried Pataks aswell and said they are thumbs up.
