(Gifted) Today we headed to Jump In Trampoline Park in Shrewsbury for a two hour Open Jump session.  My boys have been to trampoline parks before, but this is the first time us adults joined in the fun too!  It was such an enjoyable morning.  I wish we had got stuck in sooner.  The boys liked the fact that it was a shared experience for all the family.

Summer Passes

Until the 31st of August you can book a summer pass.  These work out as excellent value.  You can buy five one-hour sessions for £35 or ten one-hour sessions for £60.  You can see all the information regarding the summer passes on their website.

I love that you can share the passes amongst friends and family so your not restricted to having to get through all the passes on your own!  Although Jump In Trampoline Park is so much fun am sure your children will want to use the passes themselves.  The summer holidays are a great time to visit as they also have extra games organised like indoor welly throwing, giant Jenga and volleyball.

Fantastic Venue

I love how everything is set out at Jump In.  It’s a big open space so its easy to keep an eye on your children.  Everything looked clean and tidy.  They had lockers to hire which is a handy addition to the venue.  These cost a £1 which is returned to you afterwards.  So, its easy to keep your valuables safe if everyone in the family wants to Jump In!

Pleasant Staff

Also, the staff were very friendly.  I noticed them giving helpful advice and encouragement to kids struggling to jump to the higher platform at the Giant Air Bag attraction.  The lovely lady on reception kindly changed our time slot too.  We had arrived 30 minutes sooner than we thought!  Traffic had been lighter than we expected.  It is great that they were willing to be so flexible.  Obviously, it depends on how many people are booked in.  But we were fortunate they had space and generously accommodated the change.

Very Safe

On arrival you watch a short safety briefing.  It’s only 3 minutes long and its very colourful and entertaining so it gets the message across to kids well.  The staff also double check that the key safety messages have got through to your children.  There are lots of signs dotted around Jump In too.  Some of them are quite hilarious to read!  You do get the sense that the staff want you to keep safe but also to have an incredible fun filled session.

Jump In Attractions

The selection of attractions meant there was ample to keep us all occupied for the full two hours.

We only stopped for a brief refreshment break and then it was back to more bouncing, dodgeball and basketball!

The boys wanted a slush each but afterwards we made the most of the free water on offer.  It’s nice that Jump In have free water available.  It’s such a physical activity you need to stay hydrated!  Other trampoline parks we visited never offered complimentary water and I think it’s a sign that Jump In really care about their visitors.

We should have all had slushes as I didn’t realize with the Summer Fest special offer in July and August our fourth slush would have been free!  Just the drink you need to cool down those red flushed faces.

Trampolining is quite a workout so the perfect summer holiday activity for lively kids!  Let them burn off some energy and improve their balance and co-ordination in the process!

I am determined to revisit just so I can master the twist ladder and ring the bell at the top!  Instead I spent a fair bit of time falling into the foam pit!  I am sure I can only get better with practice and it was amusing just giving it a try.

The battle beam was a highlight for my boys.  It is quite tricky keeping your balance and swinging the foam baton successfully!

My husband proved to be the overall victor!  So, he was very smug with himself.

The interactive reaction wall brought out our competitive sides!  I managed to get up to 26 after a few attempts.  I can see us wanting to become regulars just so we can refine our skills!  You have to jump quite high to reach the top buttons!

My eldest son found the Giant Air Bag quite exciting!  Especially as he would jump from the higher platform!

The littlest ones have a soft play area too.

Booking A Visit

It’s worth booking tickets in advance as there is a £1.50 walk in fee otherwise.  Also fill in your online waiver so you save time when you arrive.  The online waiver lasts a year so if you are a regular visitor it’s good that side of things is all done and dusted.  Rather than the paper waiver lasting just that day.

Jump In Shrewsbury have lots of special events going on.  They cater for birthday parties and have a special sleepover with trampolining, group games, movies and popcorn which sounds amazing!  Plus if you are struggling with childcare in the holidays they even have a summer holiday club.  My two would love that if we lived closer.

Our day was filled with smiles and I know the boys will sleep well tonight!
