Spice Pots Review and Giveaway
I first saw these fabulous Spice Pots in my friend’s new house. I remember thinking how stylish they looked sat out on her kitchen worktop. So I was over the moon to be sent a Happy Cooking Spice Gift Set to review and giveaway.
I was very impressed with the contents of the Spice Pots gift set. Priced at £34.95 it includes 5 spices, a cookbook and a cook’s candle. It would make a lovely gift for Christmas for anyone who appreciates cooking and making their house look beautiful! These Spice Pots won’t be dashed out of sight in a cupboard, they will take pride of place in your kitchen.
The accompanying Indian cookbook will help you make mouth-watering Indian cuisine whether your new to cooking curries or an experienced chef.
Included Spice Blends
The spice blends included are Korma, Bhuna, Tandoori Masala, Goan and Mixed Sweet. Each 40g pot can make eight family meals, so this gift does go a long way! The spices range from mild with the Korma to the intense heat of Goan, so curry lovers are well accommodated. Whilst the Sweet Mixed Spice Pot is ideal for baking or flavouring puddings and porridge. The taste will remind you of Christmas, with cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg. But you can even use it with gammon and pork as a substitute for Chinese 5 spice. I really do love the versatility of the product.
The spices are vegan friendly, gluten free, nut free, sugar free, dairy free, no salt, low fodmap (excl Tandoori Masala) and keto friendly. I haven’t come across this brand before but am really impressed with their thoughtfulness after reading through all the information. The set with tins, cookery book and candle is the perfect gift and one I would be more than happy to receive. I love the artwork on the tins, definitely ones to keep on display and use in all variety of dishes, not just my favourite curries.

Had’t come across of these before but they sound amazing. I love to cook but have limited space for lots of spices and often don’t have time to make up spice blends myself so I think these would be really helpful! I have never heard of this range before. I love the fact that the spices are already toasted, ground and blended for each meal. Save time and having to purchase lots of different spices

I’ve not heard of these before, but would love to try them. I love the flavour of a korma, but am allergic to coconut – these would mean I could enjoy the flavour safely. Also, the idea of the cooks candle is fab – the one thing that I don’t like about cooking curry at home.

I have heard of Spice Pots before, although not actually tried them. We all love curry and spicy flavoured foods in our house, and I love to try out new recipes with lots of fresh ingredients, so Spice Pots would fit in so well!
