Anti-bacterial Slime Review and Giveaway

Today Canal Toys launched their new range of anti-bacterial slime. My boys were sent a couple of pots earlier in the year. But we had to hold off telling you all about it until the official release! The pots are very portable, and the antibacterial benefits last for a whole month. This is the first of this type of product, it is so revolutionary!

My boys both thought it was a fantastic concept and I must say I was rather impressed myself. I really couldn’t wait to tell you all about it. It’s another step in the fight against germs! Let’s be honest during 2020 and 2021 hygiene seems to have become much more important. But it is all getting a little boring now for our children. So, these new products make hand hygiene fun and exciting! It’s much more interesting sanitizing your hands with slime than a squirt of hand gel.

Encourage Good Hand Hygiene

I thought these products were such a clever way to promote good hand hygiene habits through the medium of play! Younger children will probably be happier using anti-bacterial slime over traditional anti-bac hand gel products. It such an accessible format too, the tubs are easy to open and much more user-friendly than awkward hand gel dispensers.

Plus, this slime kills 99.9% of bacteria! You can be reassured it is working as well if not better than what you used before. I say better because children are more likely to be tactile with slime, so you know its giving really good coverage on their hands. I like that its non-sticky and contains no alcohol, so it is very child safe. Some hand gels have a crazy amount of alcohol in them which cannot be good for children’s sensitive hands. My boys had no issues playing with this anti-bacterial slime.

Single pots have an RRP of £2.99 or you can buy a four pack for RRP £9.99. There are a total of six different colours. You can order them online from Smyths Toys or Amazon. I have a feeling this product will be very popular, as it gives parents assurance and comfort during the difficult times of a COVID pandemic. Playing with super stretching slime is also something children really enjoy. It can be a bit of normality that just happens to have the huge added benefit of being anti-bacterial too!
