The colour lime in clothing is often associated with summer fun and being exotic. Therefore, this dress would be ideal to pack for overseas travel! It takes hardly any space in your suitcase. Lime works so well teamed with the chocolate colour. Brown is very much in fashion this season. It is also the perfect base colour to work with vibrant lime! It’s nice for browns to have their moment in the limelight as the natural colour is often overlooked in favour of black and navy. There is also plenty of white on the dress too, white dresses are associated with innocence, cleanliness and peacefulness. It’s amazing what different colours can say about your personality.

It is quite sheer so would be great to put on over your bikini so you can go straight from the beach to a party! But it’s a lovely bright colour for summer fashion. My favourite part of the dress had to be the chain detailing, it made it more of a standout dress.

Benefits of Halter Necks

I do like having halter neck dresses as you can adjust them to flatter you best. You can really showcase your neck and shoulders. It’s a good idea to wear these types of dresses with a statement necklace. Personally, I don’t have much jewellery, but any necklace is better than none.

Halter neck dresses are mainly about your upper body, so you can take away the focus from your legs and hips if you don’t feel quite as confident about them. It’s a clever tactic using different features in fashion to feel happier about your body.

Short Sleeve T-shirt

A wardrobe staple for summer has to be short sleeve t-shirts. You can never have enough in your wardrobe. I was pleased to be sent the lilac V neck short sleeve t-shirt for £11.98. I teamed it up with a denim jacket and leggings but it would work well with denim shorts too.

The scoop neck is apparently a flattering feature on t-shirts because it balances a long face. It’s nice to have the comfort of a t-shirt but with an added extra of more exposed skin with the scoop neck.
