I was excited to be sent three more items from Femme Luxe, especially my very first jumpsuit. I am always impressed with how well they keep on top of current fashion trends. There is always something new and exciting to review, which helps keep things fresh and interesting.

Jumpsuit

This is my very first time wearing a jumpsuit. I usually stick to dresses as you can tell from my previous Femme Luxe reviews. But a jumpsuit can make a welcome alternative to your wardrobe. They are very much on trend for summer 2021. Apparently searches for jumpsuits are up 61% on one fashion platform compared to previous years. Their popularity shows no signs of declining at the moment.

It’s no surprise really as the jumpsuit is very versatile. There are lots of different options available on the Femme Luxe website. They have an assortment of colours, and you can go for the one shoulder design like me (which costs £18.99) or have a completely off the shoulder look. Plus, they even have lace up fronts or plunging necklines if you wanted something a bit more daring! Whatever the occasion there will be a jumpsuit that works for you.

Jumpsuits are very comfortable to wear. Also, they are effortlessly stylish, you don’t have to worry about matching up a separate top and trousers. You just step into your jumpsuit then step out the door! Fortunately, jumpsuits work well with all different body types too. You can just pick a jumpsuit with different shoulders or wider legs depending on your frame.

Shorts

Femme Luxe have plenty of denim shorts on their site. But if you fancy a change, I liked the charcoal scoop neck sleeveless crop top with jogger shorts. They are great for the gym; I usually always wear leggings so its nice to have a change. They are very affordable at £15.99.

I love the shirred detailing which draws the fabric around the waist.

Joggers

When autumn and winter comes around, I prefer to be cosy and relaxed in joggers. I was sent the mauve hoodie and skinny joggers set (£26.99). I think I will wear the hoodie separately too with jeans some of the time, which means I will get even more use out of this combo. Apparently, the colour mauve is associated with power, wealth and royalty! This was because of the cost of the dye years ago, but if you like those characteristics this pale purple jogger set might be the one for you!

It’s great having joggers that are more slim fitting. Personally, I think it is more flattering for my frame than having baggy joggers. You get all the benefits of active wear without looking quite so casual when they are well fitting.

I much prefer leggings and joggers to jeans these days. I find them more comfortable on my hips. As you get older comfort is everything! Skinny jeans might look nice but wearing them all day can be painful. Too tight skinny jeans can even impact your health, so always choose clothes that you feel content in over anything else.
