We thought we would make the most of our complimentary ticket and visit another of the Ironbridge attractions. Enginuity was great fun for my two boys and very educational.

When we first arrived there I thought it would not take that long to get round as it is not a huge attraction by any means. But as it was my boys took great interest in every single display and seemed to learn some valuable lessons as they went along. Rather surprisingly our visit lasted a good few hours and they managed to burn off some energy too turning all the levers and handles.

It is a handy attraction if the weather turns, being indoors and lots to see and do is a nice way to pass a couple of hours together.  I must admit I probably learnt a few things myself. All of us enjoyed making structures that were wobble proof. The boys learnt about the best techniques to do this as we built up our tower.

The water display was another highlight and my two did not want to leave that section of the museum. The staff had also kindly left out a rail of aprons that you could use if you wanted to keep your child dry, I thought that was very considerate not that mine would wear them of course!

The boys left Enginuity full of new knowledge and a renewed interest in the world around them. It is a really interactive attraction. We even built an arch!
