We were sent two of the Ninja Turtles characters to review, Raphael and Michelangelo (RRP £9.99 each). Recently all of my son’s friends have gone Turtle mad! Toys need to be green and wearing a shell to be a hit lately!!! So these two Ninja Turtles were welcomed and loved instantly, they have experienced a fair few adventures already.

One fell down a dark and mysterious hole and had to be rescued by his turtle buddy.

Play Fighting

They did some energetic sparring between each other

Down the slide they go

Tackling the garden slide!

I tell you, its hard work being a Turtle (I got a little tired just watching their antics!).

The characters seem well made, they survived garden playtime after all (aside from being a little muddy afterwards!). They both came equipped with a selection of weapons, flying stars etc. But I do not feel like they are a violent toy, they seem good for imaginative play.  My children seemed to play quite nicely with them, trying to work together (although if they had one of the bad guys too, perhaps they would have unleashed those weapons on them!).

My eldest will no doubt be adding more Turtle items to his birthday wish list after testing out these two, not only do you have the action figures but you can buy vehicles and even a skate ramp to add to the excitement. So there is lots of playability with the sets.

More information is available from the Flair website.
