Introducing Kidscast & Competition to Win Teksta Toucan

Kidscast is now close to launching, the website is live so you can head over to http://kidscast.tv to learn more. Hopefully you joined in yesterday’s twitter
party so have a greater understanding about what the app offers your children
(and maybe even won a prize!) but the fun hasn’t ended yet.

I
also have a competition here to win a Teksta Toucan (£59.99) this rather clever
robot bird likes playing games and performing magic tricks! Just fill in the form at the end of this
page by the 4th of January to enter.

Kidscast
is a completely safe platform for your child; it has no in app purchase options
– always a relief as my boys before now have bought bundles of diamonds to
upgrade their characters or to complete tasks quicker… none of that nonsense or
extra expense here!

Just
fun and educational games that will make your child eager to learn without
adverts getting in the way of their entertainment or showing them anything
inappropriate. The app has been certified by the UKCCIS (UK Council for
Child Internet Safety) so you know they can be left to make the most of the app
without constant supervision. It really is the perfect entertainment hub for the
Christmas holidays; you know your children are only accessing content for 3-8
year olds so you don’t need to be scanning over their shoulder making sure they
aren’t seeing anything they shouldn’t.

Kidscast
costs £3.99 a month, which is very reasonable for the amount of content
included, alongside the games, you have shows to watch and activities to
complete. Some of the shows will be a
trip down memory lane for the parents with the likes of Wind in the Willows and
Rainbow – its also nice to introduce your children to shows without quite so much
mayhem or violence, just charming characters that are bound to delight children of the targeted age range.

It
has been developed to be easy to navigate so you children won’t be calling you
every five minutes asking what do they need to do.

  1. My daughter loves playing in her iPad and I like the idea of not having to check up on what she's doing very 5 minutes and she can play whilst I'm washing the pots! Also it's nice that it's educational and she probably won't realise!

  2. My twin grandsons would love this,I like that it's educational although I have to admit that I'm not too clued up on these games and apps,I leave all that to my daughter x

  3. This app looks great! My daughter would love it. It looks really kiddy-friendly, easy to use and navigate and in a safe environment, free from in-app purchases!

  4. The Fun and Learning part of the app looks great especially for one of my twins who is dyslexic, we are always on the look out for things that will inspire him . Great that they offer a 7 day trial so you can see wether you think it's suitable for your child, although I can't imagine that they wouldn't enjoy every minute of it
