In the spirit of Mother’s Day Hotel Chocolat challenged bloggers to think about their favourite Mum Moments. I thought this was a lovely idea and couldn’t wait to be involved and share some of my own.

My Favourite Mum Moments

Our first holiday abroad to Portugal back in 2013. I love holidays because you have less distractions getting in the way of quality family time and it was lovely being in the glorious sunshine together. It was such a relaxing break and the boys always remember it fondly.

I really like all our days out and adventures, creating memories that will last a lifetime! Here we are in Llandudno, enjoying a walk on the pier.

Below we are exploring Tenby Beach. Whatever the weather its nice to get out with the boys!

Don’t get me wrong its not all holidays and trips away there has been plenty of mischief and mayhem thrown in too! But you will look back and giggle eventually I promise you… Like the time the boys managed to get at a tub of sun cream when they were younger and it was very messy as you can see. Hilarious looking back at the picture now, but at the time I was probably like oh dear look at the carnage! That stuff was so thick and took ages to clean haha.

Other proud mum moments are seeing them develop as individuals.  Finding interests and hobbies they enjoy and learning to get along as brothers!

Being a mum is a bit of a rollercoaster.  You have tantrums to deal with, playdates and sleepovers to survive and lots and lots of MESS.  But its also the best thing in the whole world!

  1. You have some really lovely photos of you with your children. This sounds like a fun campaign, must try and think of my own so I can enter!

  2. Such lovely moments to remember with your boys, It is the outings and holidays I mostly remember too, who wants to remember homework and washing and everyday stuff?
