If you’re children’s wardrobes need updating before you dash off to the shops why not read about what trends are popular this summer. We tend to go with the flow and just pick up whatever we like when out shopping or online at Esprit Kids but occasionally I enjoy reading up about what is fashionable and seeing if any of it interests the boys. As they are getting older they are more aware of how they dress and seem to be moving away from character prints they used to love when they were little. So how is this summer fashion shaping up:

Matching Outfits

Not just for the siblings it would seem but children are now wearing the same as the grownups! Having two boys they could dress like dad I guess. But I rarely dress the boys the same so I probably wouldn’t do this anyway as the boys like making their own decisions style wise and not mimicking each other or their dad!

Street Fashion

This my boys like I guess they are often in baseball hats although they don’t always stick with wearing them backwards.  Often they have a backpack slung over their shoulder for good measure.

They also like trainers but are still in the skinny jeans stage not loose pants.

Nature prints

Scenes inspired by nature are very popular this year. We love being outside so the boys are only too happy to have prints featuring mountains and anything to do with outdoor adventures! We geocache, we go on long rambling walks and the boys have tried everything from paddle boarding to llama trekking and horse riding.

Beachwear

Esprit Kids have this summer fashion trend wrapped up with waterproof watches, swimwear that dries fast, trendy flamingo prints if you’re feeling tropical and causal surfer designs. Don’t go to the beach before having a look on Esprit.

Statement prints

Although my eldest child favours tops with attitude most of all! The Blah Blah Blah statement top from Esprit Kids at £11 is so him! That’s all he hears when I talk to him, he is a tween now for sure and there is no going back. Fingers crossed I make it out the other side!!!
