I am impressed with how much he can do. My youngest has been wanting a robot for ages.  But they always seemed so expensive this robot is an absolute bargain!   You can actually program up to 50 different movements for your robot to complete.  Involving the different directions and perhaps throwing in a dance using the appropriate button.

Robot dancing isn’t up to much (but then who am I to judge I am not exactly a mover myself!).  Although its nice having it as an extra in there. Children will like the sound effects.  Noisy toys are always popular here. It has alarm sounds or can speak robot gibberish. The LED eyes change and alter the robots facial expression.

The biggest highlight for our family is the fact you can use smart controls and move the robot with hand gestures. For me this makes the robot quite sophisticated and excellent value for money. The Smart Bot can walk or run (running looks like gliding along the floor!), in any direction including backwards. This robot has lots of playability for the Christmas holidays, it makes an ideal present as it looks like it would have cost a lot more, so if you are on a budget this Christmas buying the Xtrem Smart Bot is a must.

You get three hours playtime for the two hour charge (using the USB cable), plenty of time to enjoy your robot. It goes into standby mode when not used for two minutes again prolonging playtime for when the robot is actually in use.
