When my eldest was tiny he was so proud of his Trunki.  He used to trundle it along everywhere. He also enjoyed filling it with his favourite belongings and taking them away on holidays.  I found it was handy to give him a rest from walking.  I could pull him along for a while if his legs felt weary!  Or if he was being a handful and I wanted him to stay in one place.

For those long train journeys before we had our own car the Trunki was an indispensable item to own.  It covered transportation, entertainment and storage all in one!  You really could cram so much into it.  It was like the Tardis I would bring out colouring, playdoh, endless snacks and drinks to keep him happy.

Hats off to the Trunki team they really know what they are doing when they design their products for children.  They have such creative vision too, the Trunki is available in such a wide range of colours/characters.

So Many Different Designs

We had the Gruffalo, but I am sure the newer Frank the fire engine or Pedro the pirate ship would have been highly coveted by my eldest too!  I really like the look of the Paddington design but I am a huge fan of the marmalade loving bear, shame they don’t do it in my size!

There is even a customiser so you can have complete control over the design process.  It’s very fancy indeed, I had a little try for research purposes and felt a bit sad my boys are two old to squeeze onto a Trunki anymore.  I can’t get over the flexibility you have when it comes to picking out the colours for the body, nose, stripe, horn, handle hub cab, wheels and more!  It’s a child’s dream come true, they can choose all their favourite colours and make a bright and cheerful one to wow their friends.

As time has passed the product range has grown.  My boys now have the large swimming bags.  One has a shark PaddlePak and the other a whale, three years later they are still doing strong holding everything they need for their swimming lessons.
