I have teamed up with Indie Bay to giveaway a month’s supply of their tasty snacks.  Indie Bay was formed in the hunt for a fulfilling snack for the family.  They have interesting flavours and a fantastic crunch.

We all had our own favourites.  I took my review products along on a walk in the countryside.  Mainly so we had an incentive to keep the kids walking!  Food is always a great motivator.  Smokin’ BBQ turned out to be the most popular with 4 votes, closely followed with 3 votes for Cracked Pepper and just one for Sunflower.  But we liked sampling each of the flavours.

They are a satisfying snack, very filling.  After nibbling on these as an afternoon snack the boys didn’t ask for anything until dinner time which is nothing short of a miracle.  Nanny calls my boys the baby birds because they are usually grumbling to be fed again!

Healthy Indie Snacks

I really like the company ethos.  They want to make snacks that taste good and help you feel good!  Everything you love about pretzels minus the grease and the guilt apparently!  They do this using natural ingredients, making sure they have no trans fats and being GMO free.  Quick confession I did have to google GMO free to check what that meant!  But it just means the product is not genetically modified.  So, no nasty synthetic pesticides or fertilizers when the wheat was grown!

My sister in law was impressed with the packaging.  She also said it was refreshingly low on calories too which is a bonus.  But she follows a gluten free diet so rather sadly she couldn’t join in on the sampling.  Although back when she had more freedom with what she ate she used to love pretzels.  These would have been perfect for her if they had been around back then.
