If your wondering what to get the kids for Christmas I really can recommend this game!  We had such an amazing time playing Bank Attack this afternoon.  We managed to get as far as completing level 5.  But so far, we haven’t achieved unlocking the hidden bonus level as we made a mistake.  It’s very addictive so we will keep playing and playing as we are determined to get that bonus level!

Why We Loved This Game

Bank Attack is such an ingenious idea for a game!  We worked as a team of between 2 and 4 players trying to pull off a successful bank heist.  It’s so tense and exciting.  So much so I could feel my heart racing as we quickly tried to do all the commands on time.  As the levels progress it gets harder and harder.  Level 4 onwards you then combine items, “use something AND something else” threw us at first!  It becomes more challenging and fast faced.

I really love that this game gets you to work as family to unlock the safe.  Everyone takes on a role from Hacker, Lookout, Money Man and Explosives Expert.  Although it doesn’t really matter which role you take on as you will still play a key role during the heist.

Bank Attack comes with money cards, plastic gold bars and 8 tools needed for the heist.  You have a headset, explosives, goggles, flashlight, drill, map, gloves and laptop.

During the game you will have to pass these tools over to other players, press a button when you are asked to use one in your possession or press your button all together.  You need to do everything quickly otherwise it gets registered as a mistake, make too many and you hear police sirens and know the game is up!

You really need to concentrate hard or you can start to mess up.  Every command you do needs to be carried out flawlessly to help the team get the cash and avoid being hauled off to jail!  There are no places for day dreamers in your elite squad, not if you want to complete the high levels anyway!  If your mind wonders even for a second you will forget to use a tool at a crucial time or fail to pick up a tool when you were meant too!  Luckily I had a team of pro’s so we got our hands on the cash.
