Paid Collaboration.  We were very excited to be sent a selection of illooms products.  These are the world’s first LED latex balloons.  They launched way back in 2008, so I feel like I should have been introduced to illooms sooner.  We have hosted many parties over the years and always want to find ways to make them more memorable.  I never thought about brightening up our parties with these amazing products.  We always have balloons of course but not once balloons that glowed!

Fortunately, now I know how effective illooms are, they will be illuminating our parties and gatherings from this point on!  They have a vast product range which includes my favourite the gorgeous colour changing hanging light up balloon lanterns.  I think these are really clever and a bit more special seeing as they change colour.

Plus they have polka dot, marble and stars designs.

Whilst your children will love the happy face, illoom icons, aliens and princess design light up balloons.  There really is something for everyone in the family!

The gold and silver balloons are very stylish if you want to try your own balloon garland.  We never attempted one as the boys were having too much fun throwing balloons around, playing catch.  But it does prove that illooms are so much more than just décor.

If you are thinking about party entertainment you could go one step further and buy some of their Make Your Own sets.  They have butterflies, dinosaurs and unicorns to pick from!  Children will enjoy adding the stick-on parts to make a creation they can be really proud of.

illooms claim to glow for up to 15 hours, which is very impressive indeed.  Ours are still shining bright 13 hours later.  Another bonus is that these balloons seem to stay inflated for longer than the ones we use normally.  We did have one balloon pop when we filled it with air, but no problems with any others.  We found that it helped to tap the balloons in some cases to get the light working properly.

illooms really can transform your children’s parties.  We found them to be so much more fun than regular balloons.  They really can light up your celebrations.  My boys loved the novelty of the alien balloons.  They are a decent size, so would make lovely party favours for guests to leave with.  Forget going overboard on expensive party bag favours, what kid doesn’t love a glowing super-sized alien!  Stock up on balloon sticks and watch them happily leave the party with their new friend.

We found illooms very simple to use, you just pull the tab out, see the LED light come on, then inflate to the recommended size.  You get a helpful guide included in the packet so its easy to make sure the balloon is the right size!  I left the boys to prepare the balloons for me, then just tied the knot.  It didn’t take long before we had some impressive balloon décor to decorate the room.
