Nixplay Smart Photo Frame Competition

I was thrilled to be sent a Nixplay Smart Photo Frame to feature.  It looks amazing on my chest of drawers.  Such a modern design!  The matte black frame is very contemporary.  The 10.1-inch screen is a decent size.  I enjoyed seeing the rotation of photos of my boys and husband.  It brings back lots of lovely memories of precious family holidays.  A regular photo frame is just one photo, so it’s fantastic having the variety of lots of different ones.  Normally this photo frame costs £169.99 but its currently reduced by 30%!

My husband uploaded the photos.  It was easy to do.  Firstly, you install the Nixplay app on your phone.  Then you connect your photo frame onto Wi-Fi.  You get a 16-digit serial number which you then link to your account.  You can do it all online too, if you aren’t a fan of apps.

We have had a digital photo frame once before.  But that worked in a different way.  The one we had previously relied on a memory stick. Although Nixplay do have that option too!  But I prefer the Nixplay Wi-Fi compatible frames as other people can also add photos if you give them access to your account.  You just invite friends and then they get an email invite to download the app.

If you gave a Nixplay Digital Photo Frame as a Mother’s Day gift, you could then load it up with photos for your mum during the year.  So, it’s the gift that keeps on giving!  It’s such a creative and thoughtful idea.  Alongside photos short video clips up to 15 seconds long can be added too.  I know if my boys had children and they lived far away I would be grateful of this photo frame to keep me updated.  Watching those tentative first steps and listening to those first words!  Basically, any little achievement my grandchildren made I would want to be part of that!

I love this photo of my boys walking under water for the very first time!  Now that’s something incredible to remember.

Sharing Memories

If like us, you have family spaced all around the UK being able to use this feature really helps lessen that feeling of distance.  They don’t have to feel like they are missing out on those wonderful memories!  You can just keep adding them to their account so they can see everything that is happening in your life.

This is the driving force that inspired founder and CEO Mark Palfreeman to create Nixplay.  It’s all about keeping families connected regardless of physical distance.  I love the design of their photo frame and it’s so functional.  If you flip the frame upright, it automatically changes the photos to portrait.  It’s so clever, you can see the thought that has gone into its development.

My Nixplay Digital Photo Frame came with a remote and its very simple to control.  You can use it to change the transition effects, pause the playlist or adjust the volume.  The remote control can be attached behind the frame by magnet.  I think this is very clever and a real space saver!

The Nixplay Digital Photo Frame can be wall mounted, although I prefer it freestanding, its nice to have the choice.  The photo quality is fantastic, the high-resolution IPS display makes all the difference.

Before I opened the product box, I was pleased to see on the front it said, “You’ve just planted a tree!” – for every Nixplay Smart Photo Frame purchased they plant a tree.  There really is a lot to like about this company.
