Baldness in Men: Is It An Issue?
My husband is in his late thirties and still has quite the head of hair. My brother on the other hand has a few bald patches. The difference is mainly due to their genes. There is a hope that a drug might eventually be able to cure baldness in men but until then what can you do to help the situation. Or let us be honest does it even matter?
Accept it
It is a normal part of the ageing process after all so you could learn to accept it. Although it can be hard if you face baldness at a younger age. Apparently, men are going balder younger than ever before. But take faith in the fact there are many attractive and successful bald men out there, The Rock always manages to look gorgeous!
Cheat
Having read how women find men with hair more attractive, successful, and approachable it can be tempting to take matters into your own hands. Just bear in mind they did also say bald men are seen as more dominant and powerful.

That explains why Rock works for me then! Suits his film roles too as an action hero!
However affordable men’s hair replacement systems do exist if you really don’t feel like baldness is for you. So, if you want coverage you could always go down that route. They look very realistic and a full head of hair can make you feel so much more confident. According to Men’s Health half of men in their fifties are quite bald. At this point you either embrace baldness (which really does suit some men!) or look for the solution of hair loss.
I would just focus on the positives the same Daily Mail article said that “Men who start going bald at a young age are up to 45 per cent less likely to fall victim to prostate cancer later in life” researchers from the University of Washington found. So, if you do start balding at a young age try not to panic it might work out well for you in the end!
Stress
Some hair loss will be temporary, stress for example can impact hair growth. In this case its about trying to eliminate that cause of stress for your life. Approaches you can try are exercise, meditation and finding a hobby you enjoy. Hopefully then you should notice your hair returning.
Diet
Your diet can affect the health of your hair, so make sure you are getting all the essential vitamins you need. You could try adding a supplement to your diet. Perhaps complete a test which spots signs of vitamin deficiency and then go from there. Vitamin C works as an antioxidant so helps with free radicals that can cause damage. As we get older, we have more of them so its vitally important to continue to have a healthy diet. Fish oil is meant to help with hair thickness. Some vitamins our body will not store like Biotin (vitamin B-7) so its best to get it from your diet. Snacking on nuts is a quick and easy fix! Biotin helps stimulate hair growth so it might be worth making sure my brother is having enough of that in his diet.
But my takeaway from writing this post is not to worry! I think there are so many fantastic characteristics associated with bald men that hair loss is not something to despair about. Please never feel hopeless about your hair! Either tweak your diet and try and remove stress or just welcome baldness! It hasn’t done any harm for Bruce Willis or Vin Diesel.
