Why not give the gift of better health this Christmas? HoMedics sent me their Pro Physio Massage Gun (currently on offer at £249.99), this cordless massager is designed for relaxing tense muscles.

The different attachments allow for various treatments such as a heat treatment or a cooling massage.   There is even a cellulite head to improve the condition of your skin, getting rid of the dimpled appearance and leaving smoother skin in its place.

HoMedics is all about making our life less stressful with there impressive range of wellness and personal health products. They have certainly achieved that with this fantastic product. Massage is well known to improve your blood circulation which then helps your body relieve tension. But my hands ache if I try and help my husband out with a nice therapeutic massage, this bit of kit will hopefully make my life so much easier.

Epic Escapes

The Escape Room In A Box from Epic Escapes lets you experience their three escape rooms at home. Included are Hijack (hard), Piracy (Intermediate) and Crime (Easy). Each story is very compelling, you feel that real rush to try and complete them in time as you work together as a team to save the day. In Hijack a plan will be hijacked unless you can alert the authorities in time. In Piracy you are on a boat that has had its course diverted after the captain mysteriously disappeared, you have to figure out what is going on and find the emergency escape before its too late! Finally in Crime you have to escape the panic room you hid in to avoid some nasty criminals before your oxygen runs out!

 

I much prefer escape rooms that offer a physical product to work with like Epic Escapes has. We tried an online escape room once and although it was okay it was definitely missing something. With these sets you get quality items like lock boxes and padlocks so it feels so much more immersive. You don’t have to worry if you get stuck either, the set kindly includes clue cards to keep you progressing through the experience.

Priced at £99 the set might seem expensive. However if you consider up to six people can play each 60 minutes game it suddenly seems much more affordable. The sets are also reusable and the company are planning on bringing out expansion packs to extend the experience further.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without stocking up on Opies family favourites. Their accompaniments transform your meals into something more spectacular.  Opies products are always full of flavour so make your occasions that bit more memorable without breaking the bank.

The fruits with alcohol make indulgent Christmas gifts for those who appreciate the finer things in life. I am looking forward to using the pineapple with spiced rum to make an appetizing pineapple upside down cake. Then you can jazz up your Christmas cocktails with their lemon slices and cherries!

LUXLO

This low calorie gin alternative has all the taste and enjoyment of regular gin but is much healthier. A great option if your want a gift for someone who is dieting and missing their usual tipple. LUXLO has well under half the calories of regular gin with only 28 calories per 25ml measure. It is sugar free and naturally flavoured. Plus, the lower alcohol content (ABV of 20%) means your recipient shouldn’t be nursing a hangover during the festivities!

I was sent the refreshing blood orange variety which I loved. They also have two other fruity flavours, passion fruit and pomegranate & raspberry. There is also an original gin alternative called ginny.

The 70cl bottles cost £30 and are gorgeous to look at, they have designed a very pretty label. However the gift pack with four miniatures at £16.95 is the ideal way to sample all four varieties before picking your favourite!

The Secret Garden Distillery

These 100% natural gins use botanicals grown and hand harvested in the owners secret garden found in the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh.  Even though I have placed these gins in the food and drink section they could quite easily be in the eco-friendly gift section too. This is because the botanicals are grown in a garden which uses no chemicals and are hand harvested to avoid the use of machinery which would increase their carbon footprint.The Secret Garden Distillery really care about the health of the earth. It’s nice when a gift you buy has an authentic story like these products do. Also you can buy soap, tea and honey from them.

I was sent the rich and warming Christmas gin (£36.95), a seasonal edition with cinnamon, ginger and cardamom. All the flavours of the Christmas cake in this delightful gin offering.

They also have floral gins, such as rose or elderflower & jasmine or more traditional gins such as lemon verbena gin. I am really impressed with the concoctions Hamish has created, using his own hand grown herbs and herbology knowledge.

If you know someone who loves cooking then the Kuhn Rikon Colori®+ knives come highly recommended by me. I have had much more enjoyment preparing dinner since these arrived to review. They are a very welcome colourful addition to the kitchen. The blades are very sharp and the handles are comfortable to hold. Kuhn Rikon currently have lots of Black Friday offers on their site so its the ideal time to stock up on Christmas gifts for all the budding chefs in the family! I am sure lots of people would be delighted with a gift from Henry Bell. They specialise in wild bird food and feeders. The bird feed has been developed to keep your visiting birds healthy and well. Why not team up one of these feeders with a bag of wild bird food. If you know your gift recipient loves robins, songbirds or blue tits you can get a tailored feed just to encourage that particular bird, I thought that was a fantastic idea!
